Nananu Chair

David Trubridge uses timber from sustainably managed plantations, with all designs intended to waste the least amount of material possible. He chooses to use plywood because it is the least wasteful form of conversion of timber. All oil finishes are organic, non-toxic natural oils. Wood is also available unfinished in some cases. Designs are intended to be long-lasting, both in terms of quality, and in terms of classic aesthetics. Manufacturing is done in New Zealand, using 70% renewable energy. Waste from the factory is separated for recycling.
